Belarusian Railway investing in service facilities
Belarusian Railway (BZD) and the Russian Research and Production Corporation “United Wagon Company” (UWC) have entered into a strategic partnership to service freight cars equipped with innovative Barber bogies in Belarus.
As part of this partnership, service facilities for freight cars equipped with that type of bogie have been established at all of BZD’s wagon depots, where BZD has agreed to provide maintenance services. In addition, a warehouse for storing Barber bogie components has been set up at Saturn-1’s production facilities in the Gomel region in Belarus.
