Russian rail car manufacturer United Wagon Company (UWC) will supply Arkhbum with 15 timber flat cars. Arkhbum is a major operator in the railway services market. A contract was recently signed by the two companies.

As a result of the deal, the total number of UWC-produced cars in Arkhbum's fleet will rise to 280 units. They are fitted with 25 t axle load bogies and will be delivered this October.

The 40 feet flat cars are designed to carry timber and have an increased loading capacity of 74 t and a higher loading volume of 122 cbm. This means that 10 cbm more freight can be loaded into each car, according to UWC.
