Timofey Vladimirovich Khryapov became Chief Executive Officer of Russian wagon manufacturer United Wagon Co on December 21. Roman Savushkin, who was one of the founders of UWC and has headed the company since 2012, remains on the board with responsibility for strategic development. ‘In seven years UWC has grown to rank among the world’s largest wagon manufacturers and become the hub of freight car construction technology in Russia’, said Chairman Andrey Motovilov, adding that the group now has five manufacturing sites, more than 11 000 employees and produces more than 55 types of wagon.
