TikhvinChemMash is to supply Karabashmed with 50 Type 15-9545 sulphuric acid tank wagons.
Russian potassium producer Uralkali has ordered 500 Type 19-9835-01 mineral fertiliser hopper wagons to be delivered by United Wagon Co’s Tikhvin plant in 2019.
United Wagon Co's TikhvinChemMash plant is to supply copper smelting company Karabashmed with 50 Type 15-9545 sulphuric acid tank wagons. The 25 tonne axle load will permit a capacity of 77 tonnes and 44 m3, around 10% higher than older designs, enabling the fleet size to be reduced.
