Description

Bogie suspension springs have increased durability, endurance and geometrical accuracy, and these features are achieved through the use of a unique manufacturing technology that has no comparable counterpart anywhere in the world.

Heavy duty springs are manufactured using technology that forms a nanosized structure in the material and do not cause in-service residue; they retain permanent clearance between coils, therefore having no impact on the coils. These springs also do not fail when stress is increased by 30-40%, therefore leading to service life increasing by hundreds of times when calculating the working stress.

The springs successfully passed the life cycle tests during the certification procedure. Its results showed that springs endure up to 10 mln compression cycles compared to the standard’s requirement of 500,000 compression cycles.
