Hopper car for transportation of mineral fertilizers, model 19-9835-01
Description
New generation hopper car of model 19-9835-01 is equipped with the bogie with an axle load of 25 tf.
Owing to its increased load capacity of 76.7 t and body volume of 101 m³, the railcar can be used to carry a broad range of mineral fertilizers. This car is especially efficient in transporting heavy materials with a high bulk density.
A special two-compound coating is used to safely protect the car body’s interior from hazardous materials it carries. The 19-9835-01 car has increased maintenance intervals, which represents an important competitive advantage, as it reduces the railcar’s lifecycle cost almost three-fold.

Kirill Kholostov, Deputy Head of the Logistics Division at EuroChem
“Increasing potash production and sales capacity is a priority for our company. EuroChem’s competitiveness on domestic and foreign markets depends on end-to-end control of the supply chain, thanks to our own logistics infrastructure (railway facilities at enterprises, rolling stock, terminals at Russian ports) and use of the latest technologies, including transportation technologies. Acquisition of cars from UWC is a logical step towards implementation of our plans.”
