Flat car for transportation of timber products,
model 13-6895
Description
New generation flat car for transportation of timber products with 72.5 t of payload capacity
and 60 feet loading length.
The flat car with
the loading space 18,850 mm long provides transportation of three stacks of
timber six meters long and at the same time allows the freight car to remain
within a short wheelbase tariff; this advantage reduces the cost of
transportation of a ton of freight. Unused dimensional volume is significantly
reduced during transportation of packaged freight and a possible damage to the
freight during loading-unloading operations is avoided, all that thanks to the
presence of side posts of uniform section. Increased terms of between-repairs
run, which provide for the reduction of the freight car life cycle costs by
almost 3 times, are a considerable competitive advantage of the freight car
of model 13-6895.
