The freight car features the boiler made of stainless steel.

200 mm thick thermal insulation using hydrophobic basalt wool mats allows maintaining the temperature of the transported cargo as high as possible, including in the winter time. Double casing thermal insulation provides for an air gap between the thermal insulation and the boiler, which ensures uniform heating of the cargo being carried with the hot air.

Innovative bogie improves dynamic characteristics of the freight car, enhances safety of its operational use, increases between-repairs run and decreases life cycle costs of the product as a whole.

Air in the air gap is heated via tubular heating elements located under the boiler. The sections of heating elements, control panel, power sockets and fuse panel are mounted on the tank car underframe. The intensity of heating the cargo is controlled by a temperature sensor on the tank car boiler.

The tank is equipped with a hatch cover, upon which filling-discharging pipes with connecting flanges for interfacing with external equipment of filling-discharging points are mounted. In order to ensure complete drainage, the lower part of the discharging pipe is located in the drain pan in the lower part of the boiler. The pressure safety element installed on the hatch cover is intended to prevent the increase of pressure inside the boiler beyond the maximum permissible limit, as well as to avoid vacuum.

A system of independent two cylinder braking provides more advantageous braking conditions, possesses higher efficiency and reliability in comparison with a traditional braking scheme. Brake system is completed with modern brake devices which between repairs term is not less than 8 years, fittings for the threadless connection of brake pipelines, wear-resistant plugs made of composite pressing material (CPM) on the basis of formaldehyde resins, providing a run resource not less than 1 mln km.

Automatic coupler pulling face is equipped with a modern draft gear of T-2 class, which reduces the level of longitudinal forces, acting on the freight car. There is also an improved uncoupling arrangement preventing the automatic coupler from falling on the track in case of breakage in an emergency.
